Loosened Ties

There’s something that draws me in when it comes to people. I love to watch them, see their expressions and how their decisions play out in real-time. And the name came from the idea of loosening your tie after work – taking off the mask, relaxing, becoming yourself. And that’s what I wanted to capture.

But let me be a little more honest, to save myself from sounding like all the other candid photographers out there. One reason I began this blog was because I’d moved to London only a  couple months before, brought my camera, and tried to take shots of all the iconic buildings and such we have here. All in the hopes of getting some photos onto a stock site so I could make some money.

Well, that failed miserably, and I decided I’d get back to what I found the most satisfying – taking photos and putting them where all can see.
